Recognition of Atypical Forms of PD

This study uses diffusion tensor imaging (an MRI technique) to define the selective atrophy of brain tracts in Parkinson’s disease, progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), and corticobasal degeneration (CBD) with the hope that distinctive changes will allow earlier recognition of these conditions and may aid in disease-specific intervention.

Eligibility:

  • We are seeking patients with classic PSP and CBD.
  • Subjects will undergo a brief clinical exam and a single MRI.
